This week at Holiday Club has been absolutely action-packed! We kicked things off celebrating Pancake Day with the children making their very own delicious pancakes and taking part in some very fun pancake races The creativity continued as everyone enjoyed making their own slime , lots of stretching, squishing and big smiles all around! The children also had an amazing time tackling the apparatus and completing an exciting assault course showing great teamwork and determination To top it all off, we went swimming and made the most of the outdoors with plenty of fresh air and playtime outside What a fantastic week full of fun, laughter and adventure!

Day 5 Children's Mental Health Week 2026 We often talk about young people's mental health and rightly so. But something we don't say often enough is this: a young person's wellbeing is often closely connected to the wellbeing of the adults around them. Children and teenagers don't grow in isolation. They grow in homes. They absorb stress, tension, resilience, hope, and healing from the environments they live in. When parents or caregivers are overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or burnt out, young people can feel it even when no one talks about it. Supporting young people's mental health means supporting families as a whole. When adults get the help they need, it creates safer, calmer, more emotionally secure spaces for children to thrive. If you're a parent or caregiver struggling right now, please know: * You are not failing. * You are not alone. * Getting support for yourself is one of the most powerful things you can do for your child. If you need support, you can: * Speak to your GP. * Self-refer to your local adult mental health or talking therapy services. * Contact a national mental health helpline for free, confidential support. * In a crisis, seek urgent help through emergency services or a local crisis line. * For support services follow this link https://herefordshire-mind.org.uk/other-routes-to-help/ Reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness. When we care for adult mental health, we strengthen the foundations our young people stand on.

Year 4 ended our RHSE topic "Relationships" by creating thoughtful Valentine's Day cards . A lovely way to celebrate kindness, respect, and the special relationships in our lives.
